The heart behind Náyade
The beginning
Stephy was born in the pristine setting of Paradise Valley Montana. Her parents were accomplished artists, so she was blessed to have grown up in an endlessly creative environment. Art was always a central aspect of her life, originally inspired by watching her parents paint in a studio adjacent to their home in Mexico. Throughout her childhood, she and her brothers traveled all around Mexico to luxury hotels and private villas where their parents were commissioned to paint large murals. The kids actively observed and helped with every project, which sparked a colorful future ahead for Stephy!
Some of her favorite memories come from an experience in 2023, where she and her husband joined her parents to complete another vast mural (316m²) project in Tijuana, Mexico.
Growing up, Stephy always loved making things with her hands, reading and writing stories. She graduated from Fashion Design and dabbled in that world for a few years, writing newspaper and magazine articles. She also used her creativity in styling photoshoots for a variety of Mexican brands.
As a lover of fashion and decoration, she studied Jewelry Making in South India. She is currently experimenting with silver and gemstones–working towards designing some collections of her own.
Stephy’s travels have also grown her passion for yoga. She and her husband completed their Yoga Teacher Training in Greece. They have taught in Albania, USA and Mexico, where they created The Yoga Club; a space to share their practices and teach different yoga flows to the community of Tulum.
They will soon continue their dream of organizing unique Yoga & Art Retreats.
The Nymph Oracle Deck is Stephy’s current most prized and special project. It took three years of painting watercolor illustrations and writing rich, wise, heartfelt messages for each card .
Besides her artistic endeavors, she has developed a beautiful and insightful way to read the cards, a gift that she shares through her workshop “Awaken your intuition through Tarot”. She recently taught this in-person course at the iconic wellness center Holistika in Tulum, and is now available in a self-paced online course.
Stephy is currently working on creating and re-interpreting a tarot deck– you’ll probably catch her at the dinner table with her paintbrushes and watercolors.
